Hi, I’m Marci, one of the writers behind the Forkd blogs! One blog that is particularly dear to me is the blog where I write about my home country, Germany. I’m a 23-year old Psychology student living abroad in the Netherlands. Having a strong curiosity for exploring new places and cultures, traveling has always been a highlight for me (Fun fact: this is what Germans refer to as “Wanderlust”). Trying new local foods might be my favourite part about traveling, next to spending time hiking. And like so many other Germans, I too have a soft spot for cakes, so you will of course find out what our “Kaffee and Kuchen” culture is about in my blog. Hello, I’m Tim! I’m born and raised in Veenendaal, a big town in the middle of the Netherlands. I’m currently studying in Enschede at the University of Twente. I’m 19 years old and I love travelling and experiencing new cultures. One of my favourite experiences so far is my time in Jordan. Although it was only one week, it showed me a whole other way of living. In my blog about Jordan, you will read some more about my food experience there! I am often focused on my studies and projects, but I find it just as important to make time for myself and the people around me. Hi! My name is Lotta and I’m originally from Helsinki, Finland and I’m currently living and studying in the Netherlands. I’m also one of the writers here on our page and I also do some social media for our blogs! Like everyone in our group, I love to travel and get to know different food cultures. Hello, my name is Kacper and I come from Poland. I was born and raised in a city called Lodz, located in the very middle of Poland. I’m 21 years old and currently I’m at bachelor studies of International Business Administration at the University Twente. One of my biggest hobbies is football. I’m really into travelling and especially, culinary side of it. Visiting authentic restaurants, cafes, or even grocery stores is the nicest part of the whole trip for me.
